THE PASSIVE HOUSE PROJECT “KomfortHusene”
Engineer Charlotte Pedersen, Isover Scandinavia a/s, will talk about the experiences and solutions from the design and constructing period and from the first 6 months with tenants.
“KomfortHusene” is the largest development project in Denmark in single family houses without traditional heating. The project aim is to raise awareness of houses with passive heating and to set the agenda for future constructions.
“KomfortHusene” are "living" examples of ordinary family homes built after the concept of passive heating, which is:
• Energy used for heating is almost zero.
• Their CO2 footprint is very little.
• The residential comfort factor - climate and reduction of allergies - is very high.
